Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a workshop on "Post Self-Assessment Improvement Plan" on 27 November, 2018 at DIU premises. Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, DIU graced the workshop as Chief Guest. Dr. Mahbub Ahsan Khan, Quality Assurance Specialist, Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) of University Grants Commission of Bangladesh was present as the key facilitator of the workshop. Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director, IQAC moderated the session as Chair of the Workshop.

At the outset, the workshop was addressed by Professor Dr. Md. Shahid Ullah, Head, Department of EEE, DIU. In the session- Head, SA committee of the Department shared the recommendations of EPR report and proposed improvement plan of the Department of EEE. The key Facilitator gave his valuable suggestions on preparing and implementation of improvement plan of the department. Vice Chancellor, DIU, in his speech, pointed out some key issues those need to be given emphasis by the department for its quality improvement and developing outcome-based curriculum.
Among others, Professor Dr. Md. Shahid Ullah, Head, Department of EEE, DIU; Dr. Abdul Kader Arafin, Additional Director, IQAC, DIU; SA Committee members of the EEE Department, other faculty members along with IQAC officials were also present in the workshop.
