A workshop on “Preparing and Submission of Improvement Plan" was held on January 13, 2018 at the premises of Daffodil International University (DIU). It was organized by the Self-assessment Committee (SAC) of Department of Textile Engineering under Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of DIU. Prof. Dr. Kamrul Alam Khan, Director, IQAC, Jagannath University was present as Chief Guest and resource person in the workshop. Professor Dr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque, Director, IQAC, Daffodil International University was also present in the workshop as Special Guest.
It may be mentioned that after completion of external peer review and following the EPR report, the improvement plan of the Department of Textile Engineering, DIU was prepared and presented in the Workshop. Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubul Haque, Head, Department of Textile Engineering, DIU presented the improvement plan and presided over the workshop as well.

After presentation, there was a very fruitful discussion about the improvement plan. The resource person and respected guests of the workshop pointed out some key issues those need to be given more emphasis by the department. They also suggested the possible sources of fund for implementing the plan along with identifying the key movers, i.e., who will be responsible for what and probable challenges and road blocks towards implementation of improvement plan, etc.
The faculty members of the Textile Engineering Department of DIU along with IQAC officials participated in this interactive workshop.
