Textile Engineering Department Organized the Workshop on “Smart Learning Objectives & Lesson Planning for Better Teaching”

A workshop on “Smart Learning Objectives & Lesson Planning for Better Teaching” was held on December 13, 2017 at room No 308, Main building of the Daffodil International University (DIU). It was organized by the Self-assessment Committee (SAC) of Department of Textile Engineering under Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of DIU. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Mark James Bartholomew, Advisor, Quality Assurance & Mobility, Daffodil International University.

Professor Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director, IQAC; Dr. Sk. Abdul Kader Arafin, Additional Director, IQAC were also present in the workshop as respected guests. Professor Dr. Md. Mahbubul Haque, Convener, Self-Assessment Committee and Head, Department of Textile Engineering, DIU chaired the workshop. The faculty members of the Textile Engineering Department participated in this interactive workshop.

As the key resource person, Mr. Bartholomew discussed some characteristics of a ‘SMART’ course objective, and later on, all the participants worked together to produce some appropriate objectives for their respective courses. A crest was handed over to Mr. Bartholomew by Professor Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director, IQAC, DIU and Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubul Haque, Head, Department of Textile Engineering, DIU. At the end of the program, Certificates were distributed among the participants by the respected guests.
