A workshop on “Lesson Planning and SMART Learning Outcomes” was held on December 14, 2017 at Digital Classroom 303, Daffodil Tower of the Daffodil International University (DIU). It was organized by the Self-assessment Committee (SAC) of Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering (NFE) under Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of DIU. The workshop was chaired by Professor Dr. Md. Bellal Hossain, Head, Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering, DIU.

Dr. Mark James Bartholomew, Advisor, Quality Assurance, DIU remained present as the Key Resource Person in the workshop. A good number of Faculty members of the Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering, DIU took part in the workshop.

The workshop was commenced by the welcome speech of Professor Dr. Md. Bellal Hossain, Head, Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering, DIU. A session about "Lesson Planning and SMART Learning Outcomes" was presented by the Resource Person. In the two hour-long workshop, Mark introduced some ideas about lesson planning and different techniques for learning outcome. The faculty members of the Department of NFE of the University participated in this interactive workshop.
