Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Daffodil International University arranged a workshop on "How to Implement the Recommendations of EPRT" on November 09, 2017 at Banquet Hall of the University from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm. The self-assessment committee of Department under Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized the workshop as part of their effort in formulating improvement plan based on the recommendations received from the external peer reviewers along with the recommendations from the self-assessment report of the department. The workshop was graced by the presence of Honorable Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University, Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam; Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering; Professor Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director, IQAC, DIU and Dr. Sk. Abdul Kader Arafin, Additional Director, IQAC, DIU.
Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University, Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam conducted a brainstorming session, in presence of representatives from the stakeholders of the department (academic & non-academic staff) where prospective ideas were generated. He put emphasis on various issues relating to the proper implementation of External Peer Review recommendations. Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, DIU was also present at the workshop and shared his views before the audience. Professor Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director, IQAC, DIU and Dr. Sk. Abdul Kader Arafin, Additional Director, IQAC, DIU also participated in the discussion and highlighted the integral role of IQAC in this respect.

Mr. Md. Dara Abdus Satter, Assistant Professor & Head, SA Committee of the Department discussed in details regarding the background and essence of formulating improvement plan of the department for the periods of 2018-2021. He highlighted the recommendations received from the EPR team during external peer review held in the month of September this year. He also briefed the ongoing activities of the concerned department where other members of SA Committee, Department of EEE, DIU took part in the workshop.
