Brig. General (Retd.) M. Mofizur Rahman, Member, Academic Council of Daffodil International University (DIU) visited office of the Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), DIU on February 08, 2017. Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director, IQAC, DIU welcomed him at IQAC office. The Academic Council Member discussed in details regarding the process and mechanism of self assessment, external peer review, development of improvement plan, lesson plan, curriculum design, outcome-based teaching learning (OBTL). He also visited the informative website of IQAC, DIU. Director, IQAC, DIU clearly mentioned the overall process and mechanism of IQAC and informed him that the eight departments in first phase have already completed their academic audit stage and are now working in the development stage to go for implementation stage of improvement plan. He was also informed that other six SA departments had been working at the academic audit stage in second phase.
Mr. Mofizur Rahman praised the activities and initiatives of IQAC, DIU and expressed his optimism that the quality of education of Daffodil International University will be improved further through implementing the improvement plan as developed through the assistance of IQAC. Other IQAC officials were also present during the meeting.
