Department of Textile Engineering of Daffodil International University organized a workshop on Survey on Current Students and Alumnus on 30 January, 2017 at Room no. 702 at 3 p.m. All the faculty members of the department, ten current students and two alumni were present in the workshop.
Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahbub-Ul-Majumder, Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor, DIU was present as the Chief Guest while Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director, IQAC was present as Special Guest of the workshop. Md. Azharul Islam, Assistant Professor & member of self-assessment committee, Department of Textile Engineering, DIU discussed about the survey questionnaire and planning of conducting survey of current students and alumni. Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director, IQAC discussed about the importance of self-assessment activities and Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahbub-Ul-Majumder, Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor, DIU informed the audience regarding future goal of DIU with respect to quality of teaching-learning. Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubul Haque, Head, SAC, TE and Head, Department of Textile Engineering, DIU presided over the workshop.
After completing the workshop, Department of Textile Engineering completed survey of total 400 currents students and survey of alumni will be concluded within 15th March 2017. Total 5 teams from current students along with SAC members are working to conduct survey of alumni.
