Daffodil International University observed SAARC Charter Day-2016

Former Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Mr. Muhammad Zamir (2nd from right) graced the occasion as Chief Guest while Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Director, IQAC, Daffodil International University was present as Special Guest.

Institutional Quality Assurance Cell and Department of Business Administration jointly observed SAARC Charter Day -2016 on 8 December, 2016 at its own premises.Former Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Mr. Muhammad Zamir graced the occasion as Chief Guest while Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Director, IQAC, Daffodil International University was present as Special Guest. Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Daffodil International University chaired the session. Mr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Business Administration, Daffodil International University remained present as resource person.

As a member of Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA), Department of Business Administrationof Daffodil International University observed the day in association with Institutional Quality Assurance Cell of the University. AMDISA is a SAARC recognizedbody which is a network of Management Education and Management Development Institutions in South Asia. It has 246 members from the SAARC region with mission to promote management education and management development activities in South Asia, taking into account the economic, social and cultural context of the Region, with the firm dedication to world-wide exchange of experience and ideas in the fields concerned.

Some students of the University were awarded on that day based on their performance in three different events on the occasion of observing the SAARC charter day-2016. Among others, Faculty members, students and non-academic officials of the University were also present in the program.
