IQAC has organized Discussion with Class Monitoring Committee: Post Analysis on Classroom Monitoring (Fall-2019)

Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), DIU organized an event, ‘Discussion with Class Monitoring Committee: Post Analysis on Classroom Monitoring (Fall-2019)’ on 06 February 2019 at ‘Room 308, Main Campus, DIU.

The programme aims to share the experiences of committee members on class monitoring (conducted during Fall 2019) and to discuss on upcoming class monitoring of Spring 2020 and ten parameters were revisited as well. Prof. Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Vice Chancellor (in-charge), DIU has also graced the occasion.

Professor Dr. A.K.M. Fazlul Haque, Director, IQAC, DIU has facilitated the discussion and given a presentation to apprise the summery report on class monitoring. He urged to practice the mechanism with care and with diligence. Director, IQAC, DIU has also extended heartiest congratulations for accomplishing the outstanding tasks, by the class monitoring committee. As part of its continuation and to improve with more systematic organization of this mechanism (upcoming Spring Semester, 2020), he has requested to start class monitoring for this semester, focusing more class coverage and with diligence in marking.

Later, he has opened the floor for discussion and committee members have shared their views, opinions on how to improve the mechanism to tackle few challenges, aligning the holistic objectives of class monitoring mechanism, for ensuring the practice of international environment in the classroom on teaching and learning domains. Members of the committee have appreciated this initiative, taken by IQAC and shared their experiences, individually. In this semester, they will try to cover more classes for monitoring. Prof. Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Vice Chancellor (in-charge), DIU has stressed on its viability and necessity for ensuring quality education.
