Distinguished guests, faculty members and alumni of the Department at the workshop
Department of Pharmacy, Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a workshop on "Sharing EPR report and preparing improvement plan of the Department of Pharmacy" on 14th January 2018 at DIU premises. This workshop is a part of the ongoing quality assurance process implemented at DIU by its IQAC, under Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) of the Ministry of Education, GoB, and the World Bank. Dr. Mahbub Ahsan Khan, Quality Assurance Specialist, Quality Assurance Unit (QAU), University Grants Commission of Bangladesh was present as the resource person in the workshop. Prof. Dr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque, Director, IQAC and Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ismail Mustafa, Dean, FAHS, DIU were present as special guests. Dr. Abdul Kader Arafin, Additional Director, IQAC, DIU was also present in the workshop as guest of honor.

The workshop was started with the welcome address of Md. Mustafezur Rahman, Head, Department of Pharmacy, Daffodil International University. In the session, SA committee members shared the recommendations of EPR report and proposed improvement plan of the Department of Pharmacy. The key resource person gave his valuable suggestions on preparing and implementation of improvement plan of the department. Director, IQAC, DIU pointed out some key issues those need to be given more emphasis by the department.
All the core self-assessment committee members of the Pharmacy Department, other faculty members, few alumni along with IQAC officials were also present in the workshop. The workshop ended with the vote of thanks from Farhana Israt Jahan, Assistant Professor and convener of SA committee, Department of Pharmacy, DIU.
