Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Director and Professor Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Additional Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell, Daffodil International University took part in the International Peer Reviewing Training Workshop organized by Quality Assurance Unit of University Grants Commission-Bangladesh during 23-25 October, 2016.
Ms. Rozilini Fernandez-Chung, Vice President, HELP University College (Malaysia) and quality assurance and policy research expert facilitated the training workshop as key trainer. She highlighted the details procedures of peer review of departments by three external peer reviewers and selecting external peer reviewers under IQAC of each university. She also pointed out the roles and responsibilities of external peer reviewers and their expected deliverables during the three-day peer review.
Among others, Professor Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Head, Quality Assurance Unit, UGC; Dr Gauranga Chandra Mohanta ndc, Project Director (Additional Secretary), Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP), UGC; Professor Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, Quality Assurance Specialist, QAU, UGC; Professor Dr. M. Abul Kashem, Quality Assurance Specialist, Quality Assurance Unit, UGC and Dr. Mokhlesur Rahman, Senior operations officer (Education), Human Development Unit, World Bank Bangladesh were present in the training program. Directors and Additional Director of IQAC of other Universities also took part in the training workshop.
